Bueno Cafe is a local gathering place in Downtown Sacramento where Latino flavors, craft coffee, and neighborhood warmth come together. We opened in 2023 to bring something real to the community — and that's exactly what we're still doing.
Rooted in family restaurant tradition
Bueno Cafe grew out of the Vallejo's Mexican Restaurants family, carrying the same cultural pride into a neighborhood café setting. That heritage shapes everything — from how we welcome guests to what we put on the menu.
Coffee, pan dulce, and everything in between
Our menu is built around the everyday pleasures — specialty coffee, aguas frescas, lemonadas, sandwiches, and pan dulce fresh from the case. Stop in for a quick café de olla or linger over a concha.
A colorful space to call yours
The murals on our walls aren't just decoration — they're a statement about who we are and who belongs here. Guests call it "like being at your Auntie's house," and that's exactly the feeling we're going for.
Inside, outside, and always open
We have open seating indoors and on the patio, plus Wi-Fi for when you need to settle in. Find us on the corner near Southside Park — easy to find, hard to leave.
